Yang Bay Waterfall

YANG BAY WATERFALL

The fine beaches of Nha Trang in Khanh Hoa Province are very well known among Vietnam’s tourist brigade. However, whenever you go to the coast city, don’t forget to save time to pass by Yang Bay Waterfall. The road to the waterfall, some 600 meters above sea level in Y Bay Village, cuts through hills and fields, making for an extremely scenic ride. Yang Bay, whose name means “waterfall of heaven” in the language of the regional Raglay ethnic minority, feeds much water into the Cai River in Nha Trang.

From the top, the waterfall running through the natural forest makes a variety of stops, forming many small pools. Those receive the clean water from above and then after keeping it for a while, pour it out downstream. The droplets then fly through the air in all directions, creating a thousand tiny sparkles. At the foot of the waterfall is a lager pond. A layer of sand covers its bottom. The attraction of Yang Bay depends on a strong will of conquering. The farther you climb up, the more beautiful it gets. Many tourists conquer the waterfall by making their way gradually up and up
