Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2017 with the theme “Tỏa Sáng Ngũ Hành Sơn” (Shining Marble Mountains) will take place for two months, from 29 April to 24 June 2017 with the aim to Da Nang become a unique cultural festival tourism space.
Beginning in 2008, the Da Nang International Fireworks Competition has since become one of important events to attract tourists to the city at the end of April every year. However, it lasted only a few days without any additional activities to keep visitors staying. This year, the festival promises a lot of activities to entertain besides 5 nights of fireworks display during it courses from April 29 to June 24.
The highlight of the Da Nang International Fireworks 2017 is 5 fireworks performances of 8 teams from U.K, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Australia, Japan, China and Viet Nam named Fire – Earth – Metal – Water – Wood in the night of Saturdays on 29 April, 20 May, 27 May, 3 June and 24 June.
Along with the fireworks performances, many attractive auxiliary festivals will be organized in the framework of the Da Nang International Fireworks 2017 such as Cham culture festival, sculpture festival, “Marble” International Cuisine Festival, beer festival, street festivals, etc.
Visitors can join barefoot runs on sand, taste food and beer at international cuisine and beer fairs, contemplate statues at an international sculpture show, study the local Cham culture, or amuse themselves at street carnivals.
The festival is expected to become a “must-see” event which will leave a big impression on tourists showing them how beautiful and dynamic Da Nang city is.
